Amy is a compassionate, trauma-informed counselor serving clients across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She works with men, children ages 12 and up, teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families, using an integrative, personalized approach to meet each client’s unique goals.
Amy specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship and marriage issues, grief, addiction recovery, religious trauma, and borderline personality disorder. She also provides support for LGBTQ+ individuals, first responders, parents, and those navigating bipolar disorder, adolescent challenges, or major life transitions.
As an EMDR-trained therapist, Amy helps clients safely process trauma and reduce emotional distress. She is also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Gottman Level 1 Couples Counseling, equipping her to support clients in building emotional regulation, communication skills, and healthy coping tools.

She holds a Master of Education in School Counseling from Butler University and a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Eastern Kentucky University. With experience working in middle and high schools, Amy has a strong foundation in adolescent development and family dynamics.
