Jane Fowler, M.Ed., LPC-S is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an LPC Supervisor. With over 14 years of experience as a professional counselor and a graduate of the University of Texas with a masters specializing in Counseling. Her passion is working with individuals, couples and families to help them feel empowered in their lives and relationships by providing them with better coping skills, stress reduction strategies and communication techniques. Her areas of expertise include: depression, anxiety, substance abuse, co-dependency, couples and family counseling, women’s issues, infertility, and stress management.
Jane is an interactive CBT therapist with an emphasis on holistic mental health. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized, tailored approach to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with clients to help them build upon their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
Education
Jane completed her Master’s of at The University of Texas in Austin in 2007. She then completed her practicum and internship working with adults and adolescents in a community setting before working at the VA Hospital in Houston, and then transitioning to private practice in 2013.
